The always boisterous Bob Tucknott shared his mission of hope and mercy with the January gathering of the Central Coast Claims Association. An Electrical Contractor and owner of Tucknott Electric Co., Bob is also a founding Northern California member of "Angel Flight", Tucknott shared video and stories of his experiences with the life-saving organization.

Angel Flight West provides free transportation to medical treatment for people who cannot afford public transportation, or who cannot tolerate it for health reasons.

Angel Flight was started 21 years ago in Santa Monica, California. Tucknott joined some nine years ago, opening the Northern California "Wing", which has grown to become the largest wing in the Angel Flight America alliance. Angel Flight West ran 4,200 all volunteer missions in 2003, with about 400 private pilots volunteering not only their time and energy, but their planes and all associated expenses, as well.

Now a past "Wing Leader", Bob Tucknott's dedication to all that this organization represents is clear. He flew 57 missions last year himself. He truly is an "angel of mercy".
