The National Insurance Crime Bureau
is on the job. That was the message of Jerry Nasser, an
investigator with the privately funded investigative
organization. Funded by virtually all Property &
Casualty insurance carriers, the NICB focuses its efforts
primarily on fraud rings, multi carrier and multi claim
cases.
The Bureau's services are directly
available to member insurance companies and law enforcement
only. Funding is maintained by way of an annual assessment
to the member companies, and are provided free to law
enforcement.
The NICB operates with a huge
database of questionable reported claims.
Mr. Nasser's presentation was
thorough and informative.
