The CCCA would like to thank Mr. Grier, CPA, West Coast Managing partner for Matson, Driscoll and Damico, LLP, for his fascinating look at the role of the forensic accountant at the October 20, 2005 luncheon meeting.

Dixon covered a lot of ground in his brief talk, emphasizing two main points: Maintain Communications during the claims handling process; and Manage the Expectations of the Other Side.

Following a loss, he stated, it's "important to get things up and running ASAP."

In addition to sharing his general wisdom in this field, Mr. Grier also shared some interesting stories from the Santana Row fires.

CCCA Vice President Lenny Towle welcomed the crowd, and introduced Mr. Grier.
