Join the investigation team of Irene Takahashi, Esq. of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, LLP and Donn Imrie of Imrie Investigations for an interactive experience to determine the cause of a fire that consumed this historic tourist attraction. The County of San Bernardino owns the town and has retained subrogation counsel to recoup its financial loss for the structures, rents from shopkeepers, and revenues from tourist admission fees. All of the fire cause and origin experts agree that the fire was caused by combustibles placed too close to an electrically powered candle wax warmer in the insured's shop. The pre litigation settlement demand is for the $2 million policy limits. When the claims adjuster goes to the VP of the insurance company and asks him to sign a check for $800,000, he refuses.
